First off, the safety element is the amount of protection your family has against danger. The level of safety will depend on a number of different factors like the budget you have available, the size of your home, the age of your family and the kind of person you are.

The next thing is what kind of protection is in your home? This will include what kind of protective gear your family is using, the type of doors and windows they have, and what kind of safety equipment they use to keep people safe from weather conditions. All of these things can add up to thousands of dollars of protection to protect your family from the unexpected.

In addition to this, how safe do you think your family is if you were to lose power and heat due to a fire? This would leave your family in a very dangerous situation. Do you think your home is ready for such a scenario?

So, the first thing you need to do is identify what your family needs in order to have an adequate level of protection. With the three elements we just discussed, you can get a pretty good idea of the level of protection your family needs.

Nutrition is the next thing you need to consider. You need to look at the food you eat and the ways you prepare it. Do you prepare meals on your own or do you depend on a more costly fast food place? Do you make your own food or depend on store bought foods?

Have you ever noticed that most people always get hungry before dinner? Because of their lack of preparation, they end up eating unhealthy foods and aren’t getting enough energy to be able to do the things they want to do for the day. Even if you have the opportunity to cook healthy meals at home, you still need to have some type of food stores that your family can rely on.

In addition to the food you eat, what kinds of foods are you going to have? Because of how difficult it is to prepare fast food without following a strict plan, it is best to make sure you have some sort of prepackaged or frozen meals available.

The last thing you need to consider is preparedness. There are times when the nation’s economy turns down and what was once a grocery store can quickly run out of food. For instance, you may not have a fresh vegetable to put on your salad and the stock your family ate last week is now gone.

How are you going to go through all the food and take it out when it is empty? And what about all the food that will be left over from preparing the last meal? This is one of the things you need to consider when building an outdoor prepper.

With all of this going on, you have no choice but to prepare for the worst and store the food you can. This means you may need to find ways to store a variety of things. Perhaps a two to three month supply of canned goods is something you can consider, or even an entire month of canned goods if you can afford it.

Another thing you need to consider is how much food you can possibly have. Obviously, you don’t want to be eating meat or any dairy products, so you need to make sure you have a large amount of these leftovers that you can make into meals. Even though your family may not be able to prepare these kinds of dishes, you may be able to find recipes online that can be used to make food that can last for a long time.
